This is a picture of a Jacob’s Ladder. This toy was mentioned in the old testament . When you hold the top wooden board and tilt it the illusion is that the wooden boards cascade down the column.

The Bull Roarer, although not pictured here yet ,is the same kind used in the second Crocodile Dundee to call for help. It is a blade that is spun in the air to make a roaring sound.
